🗳️ How to Be a Voting Member in Good Standing

In accordance with the Marina Democratic Club Bylaws, all club members have voice at general meetings. To hold official voting privileges on candidate endorsements, ballot measure positions, club resolutions, and Executive Board elections:

1. Marina Residency & Registration Must be a resident and registered voter of the City of Marina (or eligible to register as a Democrat in California).

2. Meeting Participation Must have attended at least one club meeting or event within the past membership year.

3. 30-Day Dues Qualification Must have annual dues paid (or approved waiver) at least 30 days prior to any meeting at which a vote is taken.

4. Good Standing Must maintain good standing supporting Democratic principles as defined in the official Bylaws.

Dues Waiver Policy

Financial hardship is never a barrier to full participation or voting rights. Any registered Democrat residing in Marina who cannot pay dues may apply for a confidential dues waiver.

Waiver members enjoy 100% of the rights, voting privileges, and access of regular members upon Executive Board verification.
