Our 3-Step Vetting Process
The Marina Democratic Club takes its candidate and ballot proposition endorsements seriously. We provide a fair, democratic, and thorough vetting process for candidates seeking municipal and county office, while delegating statewide offices to the Monterey County Democratic Central Committee (MCDCC) and California Democratic Party (CDP).
Candidates complete a comprehensive survey on local housing, water rights, environment, and civil liberties.
Candidates speak before our general membership with open Q&A from club members and the community.
Endorsements are decided by a vote of eligible voting members in good standing present at the meeting in accordance with Club Bylaws.
